How to evaluate an AI automation agency in Dubai (not a ranked list)
Most "best AI automation agency in Dubai" lists are paid placement or self-published rankings, which makes them close to useless for an actual decision. What is useful is a short list of things to check yourself — in a call, in their portfolio, and in the contract — before you hire one. This is that list, not another ranking.
Check what they have actually shipped
Ask for a workflow they built that is still running today, not a demo. Ask what broke after launch and what they did about it. An agency that only shows polished case studies without a single honest "this needed a fix" is showing you a highlight reel, not a track record.
Check how they handle the decision before the build
A good agency either has a diagnostic step of its own, or openly says "bring us a scoped requirement, we do not do discovery." Both are honest positions. The dishonest one is skipping discovery while pretending they understood your business from a single sales call.
Check where the approval sits inside the workflow
Any serious automation involving AI should have a clear answer to "what happens when the AI is unsure, and who gets asked." If the agency has not thought about this, the workflow they build will eventually send something wrong to a customer, and nobody will have designed for that moment.
Check the pricing structure
Fixed scope with named deliverables, or time-and-materials with a cap — both are workable. Open-ended retainers with no defined deliverable are where budgets quietly grow without a corresponding result.
Check what happens after they leave
Who maintains the workflow. Who has access to the systems it touches. Whether your team can make a small change without calling the agency back for a paid ticket. A workflow you do not own operationally is a liability with a nice dashboard.
The honest way to shortlist
Ignore the ranked lists. Ask three or four agencies the same five questions above, on a call, and compare the answers — not the marketing pages. The gap between agencies shows up in how specifically they answer, not in how they describe themselves.
